JIM, those are amazing art shots. What did you do?

Nice image. The umbrella is great. I'd tone the grass down a bit, and I'm not sure all that OOF foreground is helping.

It's too complicated to explain, but Lr to Ps to Helicon to Lr to Matlab to Lr to Ps to Lr to export.

Agree. I'm constantly cropping off the bottom 1/5th of blurry at my feet foreground at wide angles. That would be best here. Make it go away. Crop halfway up to the feet and let's see how it looks.

I shot this 2 weeks ago right into that corner of the Castle in Milan. At wide angles you have to keep that sensor level or the top of the triangle will really shoot up (If you point the camera up a little). This was level. But still, at wide angle, that close object (the corner) is always amplified and made more prominent. I guess that is a form of distortion.

You did not buy any spray cans?

Jim, if you have access to chat GPT 4. Type out the complicated explanation and ask it to summarize it so a third grader can understand and do.

This is really hip hop cool. Good job young man.

Beautiful image, Vitée. I regard smoke as a challenge and you met it nicely!

Thank you, Bob.

This little show only lasted a few minutes - it was smoke from a fireplace in a house on my street - and I was shooting hand-held, with manual focus on a 90mm f/1.25 lens at about f/2. Needless-to-say, accurate focusing was critical. Almost all of the shots I made showed some lens flare, but I managed to conceal most of it in this frame. I was fortunate - this time!
