Hi, I have a Samsung S23 ultra and it allows to take a picture zoomed out at 0.6x
The picture doesn't really look right though, like everything is not in proration.
I have affinity photo and wondered if there anyway to resample for it to look normal?
I don't mind if I have to crop some of it, if anyone can tell me how i would do that would be much appreciated.

Regards
James

You should be able to crop any photo you take on a phone using the little editing suite in your camera app. I've never seen a phone camera that didn't have one. Start clicking on the option icons at the bottom of your camera screen until you find it.

If you want more options and a bit more control, you can download a larger, more powerful editor like Snapseed or Pixlr. I've been using Pixlr for years and I can make it do all kinds of tricks.

I cannot tell what is wrong from your description. Why don't you just post the problem image?

I believe the problem is not how to crop but how to get rid of perspective distortion. It is hard.

There are AI-based models that can "fix" the image. I don't know if these have been implemented in off the shelf packages though.

I have the less fancy S23+. I try to steer clear of 0.6x, which is UWA mode, and has tons of barrel distortion. I've never tried correcting it.
