Some very good thoughts in here on lighting. And on being prepared to create in the moment when things go wrong.

But when he talks about black and white film remember that classic B&W photographs are also the product of very skilled darkroom work, whether done by the photographer or by others.

The OP linked vid is photographer Lindsay Adler. I like watching her youtube videos for learning technical.
Yeah, I liked watching her a lot and also videos by Frank Doorhof, too (surprised that his videos don't get more views, while a lot of the professional youtubers who don't actually shoot photos professionally get hundreds of thousands of views).

That’s because they see YouTubing as their job and market the heck out of themselves.
