What are the options for extra grip for A7C?
I've seen those nice wooden ones on etsy, but £130 is just too much.
Another one is SMallRig full cage with additional grip added, but I don't need a cage, just a small grip extension.

Yes, I've seen this on Leica I think, interesting apporach. I need to look into it, thanks.I made a fingerloop. It keeps the camera firmly attached to my hand but doesn't hinder fingers/hand in use.
I used a piece from an old camera neckstrap. I have seen others made from short lengths of parachute cord. Or you can buy them online.
When you are not actually shooting, just walking around, your 4 fingers curl around the grip on the camera and simply dangle from the loop. You don't have to actually grip the camera but it is held quite securely to your hand.
I find this to be very comfortable and no longer use a neckstrap. It might not work as a grip for you if you have an unusually large hand. It is worth trying anyway.
The Leica thumb grip gives a place to rest the thumb and give a little more thumb leverage. However, you still have to grasp the camera at all times.Yes, I've seen this on Leica I think, interesting apporach. I need to look into it, thanks.I made a fingerloop. I've seen all these, but I was hoping there is some actually genuine grip made for A7C, like we had it for other A7x series. I even remember Sony made one for first series.https://iwoodstore.com/products/wooden-sony-a7c-camera-hand-grip expensive, but they look nice. What are the options for extra grip for A7C?

You could build one yourself.

Use only the bottom bracket. Find a piece of wood. Sand/shave it down to preference. Glue it to the bracket.

3D printed. Looks decent and cheaper?
If sony officially actually made one you would prob have found it already. All the nice looking 3rd party after market products are expensive because no one else is making it in large qty.I've seen all these, but I was hoping there is some actually genuine grip made for A7C, like we had it for other A7x series. That wooden ones are the best looking so far, but are expensive and I cannot tell how long would they last.
