Nikon is what most pros use, poll finds

Jim Marshall and his necklaces of Leica's is turning in his grave.

I met him once, and heard many, many stories about him that can't be told. A true one-of-a-kind, according to my friends who knew him better.

He had a years-long friendly relationship with a Nikon Pro Services manager in California, and gave that person several (maybe many?) prints of his work. I saw a few of them. A very cool legacy to have from your job, I thought.

Nikon is No. 1 with pros. Canon No. 2. Sony third.

I saw this the other day, before you posted it here, and I just laughed. All I could think was I wonder what kind of wacky methodology did they use to come up with that? The Nikon marketing team should hire them.

Scrolled down and saw that stat. And the most popular camera overall used by pros was the Sony A7III. I wonder what constitutes a pro in their sample group.

Additionally, one of the most popular cameras used by amateurs is the D850?? What constitutes an amateur in their poll? (And where the heck are amateurs getting the money for D850's?)

I know 4 (hobbyists) with a D850. 3 are retired, 65+ and one 60+.
