Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick change filter adapter system?

I currently have a set of Nisi mist fitters and VND filters and would like to be able to adapt these to make them "quick change" as opposed to screw on. The manfrotto xume adapters would have been ideal had they not bees discontinued.

Many thanks.

What size do you need?

Try Kase magnetic adapters, very strong magnetic that withstands strong coastal wind. I use them all on my RF lenses

I was going to by Kase, but saw this review by Nick Page:

He states that Kase filters loose magnetic attraction with time, and, when he accidentally broke one, he found out that they are plastic, not glass (at 1:10 min)...

Appreciate the suggestion, my issue is that I have a full set of nisi screw filters and I was hoping to find an adapter like the Xume as opposed to buying new.

Wow. A very revealing video; thanks.

A hard pass on Kase.

BTW the color coding idea on those other filters is brilliant.

Yes I'm talking about adapters which you convert your normal Nisi screw filters to magnetic filters. Like mine I use Kase adapter to convert my Hoyas to magnetic.

I'm not talking about the magnetic filters, the adapters which to adapt other filters to magnetic are very strong, I've been using them for years with no problems, even their magnetic lens caps are very strong magnetic and need good force to take out.

Maybe Nick Page got a dud one, but I guess Kase will replace for him no question ask.
If, according to Nick P., Kase filters are made of "some kind of plastic" (instead of top-quality optical glass), I would not even consider them. For now, I will stick with my B+W set, but, of course, they are not magnetic.
