Does Adobe have November specials?

A little perplexed with why you would consider the cost of Adobe LrC/PS is cost prohibitive. This allows the user to store images on the cloud full and complete access to the most advanced photo editing software available.
It is when it forces you into a full-year subscription if you want to continue to use it after the meagre 7-day trial. A 30, or at least a 14 day trial would be more useful. And maybe they could offer a real monthly option, rather than a yearly plan split over 12 monthly payments.
What are you talking about? If you know it is a 7 day trial how are they forcing you into anything? If 7 days is not enough then find a competitor. A real monthly option?
No, they are not specifically forcing you to do anything. But for some people, a 7-day trial period is not long enough to properly evaluate - life and work gets in the way.

Although you can pay monthly, Adobe subscription plans appear to be annual plans only. It would be useful if they offered a rolling monthly choice instead. You could pay a small fee for, say, 30 days, to properly explore it. Or if you only need to use the software occasionally, you can buy a months usage as and when you need it rather than committing to an entire year. Other services, such as cloud storage offer this facility.

Ah I see. I posted a solution for that.

You can squeeze 3 weeks out if it. Not now Adobe works I guess. Guess they aren't interest in monthly subscriptions. All that information up and available. Good to ask in forums as not every reads everything, including myself.

I don't know if it's any help, but I've just found a Groupon deal that would be great for my fellow UK members. There may well be a similar offer in other territories. I might well buy this to top up my existing subscription.

Up To 30% Off Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom One-Year Subscription | Groupon
Carefull. I see only two icons. PS and Lr which is the cloud version. I have never seen this combination offered at Adobe and I doubt Groupon dictates how Adobe sells their packages.
Looking at the adobe compare plans page, there's also the same two icons for the basic £9.98 Photography Plan with 20gb, even though this plan also includes LrC. So it would appear to be correct.

The saying around here is if it looks too good to be true. Comes with Bitdefender as well? I read a few reviews about the company that is involved. Personally I would not get involved but this is me. I wish a good outcome for anyone else who gives it a shot.

Subscribers may want to factor in the learning curve with PS. Although the most recent version is far easier to adapt to in navigation and the features and the 5 W's. The learning curve has been greatly diminished. There is still one. Unless you are willing to commit to learning some of the features may want to take this into consideration.

However, LrC and PS will bring great satisfaction, if you are willing to make the commitment. Kind of like joining a fitness center. If you are willing there are great benefits and rewards.

For $9-$12 you cannot beat the value.

The Black Friday sale is up now. Same as last year from what I can see.

Look out for Amazon deals . I got the photography plan for less than £50.00 last year.Kicking myself for not buying more at the time which I could have stacked .
How does that work?

I got it for £75 (or something like that) from Amazon at Easter, so could I have paid 3 lots of £75 and been set up for 3 years, and if that's the case, if I see it cheap before Easter next year, can I buy it and save it till my subscription runs out?

Hi Richandhiscat,

Have a read through This Thread (from last year). Basically, you can buy several licences and 'bank/ stack' them by logging into your account and redeeming the code(s) at any time - you don't need to wait for each to expire.

Last time the deal started at £79.99, but for (very) short periods it dropped further.

(The lowest I saw/ bought it was £46.72, which is equivalent to £3.89 per month).

That is good information for everyone. If you plan to keep using it go for the deals when you see them.

Canada does not typically get too many deals. I'll check Amazon on BF but I don't expect much. I did have a look and as usual books and videos.

Here is a good one. :-D

Thanks for that - I'll look out for any deals.

FWIW, the photography plan is available on Amazon UK for £72.20. I'm hoping it may fall even further by black friday.
