FYI
Hasselblad recommends two CFExpress type B memory cards:
1. Sony CEB-G Series CFexpress Type B memory card (128GB)
2. SanDisk Extreme Pro CFexpress Type B memory card (128GB, 256GB, 512GB)
However, Sony's Tough cards are thicker and hard to insert and remove. SanDisk works better.
Good one. I had put in an Angelbird SE card initially which happens to be so thick that I thought the spring loaded mechanism in my new camera was broken.
I have replaced it since.
A couple of additional infos since I attended a HB 1h dealer training after I bought the camera:
1. The cameras internal write speed is fast enough that a card with high sustained write speed is required for best operation (above 1000 MB/s). The list of approved card will be extended over time, but if you use a not approved card, acknowledge the warning and use a higher quality card w/ good sustained write speeds to avoid trouble.
2. The internal SSD is not soldered onto the main board but can be replaced. Which also means that bigger sizes are likely available in the future. Mounting slot spec was unclear though (e.g. M2.40 - no comment).
3. HB has no plans to add Video features to the camera - ever.
4. Fokus peaking will likely arrive in the next FW update.
5. I‘ve asked about the new leaf shutter mechanism and the 1/4000s v90 vs 1/2000s v38/55 in the new lenses while all 3 have the same 72mm front filter size. Pictures were shared and the new leaf shutter is significantly more compact. There are 2 new versions/sizes though, and they are both rated to 3.5M accuations (up from 1M).
6. My last question was about the Nikon flash protocol and the approved flash list (which does not include the cheaper Godox options or the newer ProFoto A10). The HB rep said they were tested successfully and most all Nikon compatible flashes should work.
