Pentax KP and DFA21 ISO 100 f/4 1/2500th

Pentax KP and DFA21 ISO 100 f/4 1/2500th

In retrospect I should have used ISO 400 and obtained a faster shutter speed to freeze their wing movement with greater clarity. The close focus ability of the DFA21 lens makes it a lot of fun to work with.

Lovely shot and bokeh. Might it be that you froze the wings so well in the first shot, because they had reached a slow point in their cyclical motion?
