Yeah. But I forgot how. The principle is that you have to create wifi link between your camera and your phone. Start wifi on the camera and then connect the phone to it with the passcode.Yes. But I dont seem to get it working. Anyone has experience with it?Are you thinking of this? Remote captureDoes anyone know if there is a phone app (android), that can remotely triger the gr2?

I've used this before. And yet I just tried. I selected shooting, I got 'this function not supported'. Sorry – it's been a long day and I don't fancy trying to work out what's going on. I bet someone here can solve this, just not me at this time.I can set the wifi, transfer images, view them, even transfer videos but remote control doesn't work. And I have no idea what am doing wrong.Yeah. But I forgot how. The principle is that you have to create wifi link between your camera and your phone. Ok. Lars. I just checked with my GR3 and this time it worked straight off. My theory is that it no longer works with the GR2?No problem, thanks for the effort. I just updated my app and same problem. I'm not sure what firmware the gr2 is on now but I'd guess mine is up to date. I suspect that it's a Ricoh bug in the Image Sync App but I have no idea how to report that to Ricoh. No problem, thanks for the effort. I get the same message.I've used this before. Hi Lars,
the other one to try that I believe works with the GR II via wifi is this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.osdn.gokigen.gr2control&hl=en
I have it installed but regret I dont have a GR II to try it on.
That works. Thanks for the post.http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/english/products/gr_remote/
^ it runs in the web browser. So the process is:
It works really well for me. Better than the imagesync app.
- Follow the link at the bottom of the above page.
- Connect the phone wifi to the camera wifi.
- Click the rotate swirl icon top right to connect the app.
- Get full access to all functions of the camera except some video functions.
This is not correct. Image Sync also offers remote shooting.Hey Lars,
Image Sync for the GRII offers simple functions only such as image viewing and transfer.Dan
