1Ds Mark II firmware 1.1.6

Hello,

I have my Dad's 1Ds Mark II. The firmware is v 1.1.1.

I would like to get 1.1.6 (I think the very last version) but Canon does not make it available.

Can anyone help me?

I can send memory card.

As always, make sure the sha256 checksum is right for your downloaded copy or that the size below is correct.

I am in the same boat as the OP on this one. I came into a 1DS Mk ii recently with an extremely low shutter count and I am abslutely in love with this camera! Only issue is the outdated firmware - I doubt that Canon will send the old file - is there any way to get a copy of this file? I've been searching for some time but all I can find are broken or very sketchy links.

If someone is able to help I would be eternally grateful

As a newly minted 1Ds Mark II owner, I too would love to have the 1.1.6 firmware. I have searched for the firmware download using multiple key words (including the file name) but nothing live exists. As Princess Leia once famously said, a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, “Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, fellow 1Ds M2 owners. You’re my only hope.”
