One of the OM-D videos showing how to do a firmware update - several apologies about the complexity and a comment that they were working hard to improve the process. We can hope!
I sent it in to OM-D support and they fixed it - no charge (except for the shipping charges which can be expensive because you need to insure the package). It took about 2 weeks to ship, fix, and return it. Very good service, I think.
I was pleasantly surprised at the speed at which my OM-1 was repaired and returned to me. I wish I was as pleased with the camera itself.
I've only taken the OM-1 out to shoot one time since it was returned to me several weeks ago so it's too early to tell if the problems have been fixed.
