Other thoughts:

Optional AG-R2 Attachment Grip makes handling much easier

Use a proper camera case for protection!

Oh... and just buy it!

A great compact, possibly the best but I dont know the others.

Bar of soap in raw form but the cheap plastic covers from Ebay do a GREAT job for in and out of pocket handling.

Sadly, that's not really a pro in any recent Sony camera that I know of.

Cons:

... Sweep Panorama can only be done at 24mm

And that's only the beginning of the bad news for Sony panos in general:

Agreed. 10 years ago Sony A-Mount cameras and the RX100M1 could do great panoramas. Now all of them, including the newer A Mounts, are poor at it.
