35mm and 85mm AF lens recommendation for R6?

True. The bleeding edge of high performance. I was kinda hoping it was old and now discounted. Instead, I think it went up in price.

I had a Tamron SP 45mm VC f1.8 which was very sharp and a great lens. I sold that and purchased the Canon RF 35mm f1.8 due to all the positive reviews. I don't know if I was unlucky and had a bad copy, but mine had poor contrast and wasn't nearly as sharp as the Tamron . I would like the RF 85mm f2 but a little worried after my experience with the 35.
