This is one of the first photos I've taken with my new toy.

Cat photos!!! I like cat photos but not as much as dog photos but now we all think you bought a GR to take cat photos so you must post something else to redeem yourself.

Unless you did buy a GR to take cat photos in which case post more cat photos i guess.. ;) low iso cat photos that arnt under exposed :)

Beautiful photo! You demonstrate how well the GRIIIx handles black. Your photo has nice depth and of course you deserve credit for a photo well done!

And I'm also a CAT person, but no pets at the moment. :-D

didn’t buy for just that. so will share more. this was the jpg sooc. it wanted a higher ISO but 6400 was my upper limit. i have the raw and plan to develop it , but i like the jpg.

glad you commented. thanks!

thanks for commenting. when i took the image and saw the ISO i was bummed and wished i had used another camera with a faster lens. i really like the framing and the moment captured. i was sure that i wouldn’t be happy when i transferred the image to my computer. needless to say, i was happily surprised and just had to share it.

You captured the moment, some of my favourite dog photos are blurred, not perfect but i love them

I processed the RAW file. Here it is:
