Driver updates

I'm sure this has been dealt with before but why is Windows 11/64 offering me optional Intel system driver updates from 7/18/1968. That's 54 years ago. I understand that's a default date but still it's probably a very old driver. How on Earth is anyone to know if this driver will solve problems or trash the system?

I've had a bunch of those, too, on three Windows 10 computers.
I never bothered to research them much, choosing to just let Windows install whatever it wanted, but here's similar on another site:

I've had a bunch of those, too, on three Windows 10 computers.
I never bothered to research them, choosing to just let Windows install whatever it wanted, but here's similar on another site:

Thank you for the explanatory link. I've never seen anything like that. If I had, I'd probably have ignored them and downloaded the latest chipset drivers direct from Intel.

I googled the date and it's the date Intel was founded. Clearly, an Easter egg.
