Rainbow Lorikeets in the rain

It's Autumn here in Melbourne, Australia and our figs are ripening. The rains are coming - badly needed for this area as it was dry through summer.

And the Rainbow Lorikeets have turned up for some food. Taken with P950. Low light but image came out fairly well. At least, I think so. And yes, in Bird mode.

Thank you. I actually didn't do much for the 'finished look'. Simply brightened it a bit, slight sharpening and noise reduction in LightRoom. I think the rain just added to it.

And yes, very thankful for the rain. While northeast of our country has had floods, the rest of us have had small amounts of rain.

The perfect amount of processing. I've actually had these birds eating out of my hands at the Oklahoma City zoo. Well, actually sipping nectar from a cup. Stunning colors.

Thanks, I thought it worked as well. I've not had these feeding from my hand but have had other parrots here at home do so. These ones are too flighty and take off as soon as they see me, usually.
