Hiya all,

Interested in the x100v and was wondering what the crop size in pixels was for a 50mm equivalent crop and also a 70mm crop using the 50mm converter.

thank you

The same as always, 6240 x 4160. They are automatically upscaled in-camera.

The camera applies the crop but then also uses an upscaling algorithm so final image size is bigger than you'd expect from the crop. The results are very decent at any kind of normal viewing or printing size and as you have the ability to shoot raw and JPEG in this mode, you can always do something else after if you regret using the TC.

One thing to note is that you will need to recrop it in Capture One if shooting raw as the entire raw image is saved.

One thing I like to do is use sports finder mode which gives a 1.25 crop to the raw image too (works with mechanical shutter only).

The digital teleconverter does not crop the Raw files; they are regular 23mm photos. FYI, it only works in single shot.
