Wondering if there is a replacement tripod foot the 70-200 gm that has a built in Arca swiss mount? Seems crazy that it isn't the default.

Thanks for any suggestions.

There are a few different brands of aftermarket tripod foot that are Arca compatible and fit the 70-200GM.

The one I use is the Leofoto SF-01, which is fairly economical and seems well built. There are a few others that are (broadly) similar, at a range of price points.

I'm using it on the original (Mk1) version of the lens. I assume it would also fit the Mk2 version, but I haven't confirmed this.

Meanwhile, I don't think anyone would complain if Sony made the stock feet Arca compatible. ; )

Generally speaking I like really right stuff. Kirk and arca Swiss

The foot is removable, and the piece it attaches to on the tripod ring looks like an Arca plate - have you tried that?

The place the foot attaches to on the tripod ring is considerably smaller than an Arca plate.

The difference in size (18mm vs 38mm) is considerable. ; )

I am planning to get the 70-200gm/mk2 so wanted to plan this out.
