Hello. Does the iPhone (i.e. iPhone 8) camera has a setting for "infinity focus".

A friend of mine took a photo of her park after the snow, but she took the photo thru her window, which has a mosquito screen, so what you see in focus is the metal screen, and blurred in the background is the park.

I assume if the camera had a setting to focus to infinity, the metal screen would not be so noticeable, and the park in the distance would be more in focus.

Thanks,

Rick

PD: I have a pocket Canon camera (SD800) that I bought 20 years ago, and it had a focus mode of Macro or Normal or Infinity. So I assume that a more recent camera such as the one in the iPhones would have this setting also. But I cannot find it.

Solution
If you want to set the focus at “infinity”, point the camera at a distant object and tap and hold the screen until a yellow AF/AE LOCK icon appears. The focus is now locked. Recompose the picture and the focus will remain locked on the distant object. If you want to adjust the exposure, slide the “sun” icon up and down. To unlock the focus, just tap anywhere on the screen.
