Mid December or February for first pre-orders, depending on source. There is no further information from Nikon at this point.

That would be great and I hope it is true. Would love to see the 24-120 being shipped at that time as well. I got my order for both placed at B&H on the 2nd day and will see if that was way too slow or not.

I was told by my dealer whom I pre ordered a Z9, 24-70 f2.8S and 100-400S that they are to be arriving on the 15th of December (yes the lens as well) and IF and I do mean IF they were to get near their full allocation of all those I would be getting that setup as soon as it get's logged into their system. Do I believe the lens and body will show up on time AND in the numbers needed to fulfill my pre order? I'm hoping and praying but not the least bit sure.
