Ticks off all the right boxes, reasonably fast constant aperture (big fan of f/4 lenses), great build, great optical performance, fast AF speed, very good max magnification, great size, ergos, features, weather resistance, and lastly price.
To me this is one of Nikon's most appealing lenses in the Z Mount. A real workhorse lens and a star in its lineup.
