I connected my camera to PC, copied the pictures, disconnected the USB drive in Windows as usually, unplugged the USB cable and turned the camera off. Since that it was dead, no power on/off worked anymore nor charging. I had to remove and re-insert the battery. It had never happend with the 1.0 firmware.

Anyone else?

After I did the update everything worked fine as usual (no issues).

I have had one hickup when doing Sony mirrorless camera firmware upgrade. After a new try everything worked well.

Your camera will most likely work just fine after the reastart if the firmware was installed (check menu > version).

I think you're misunderstanding. It sounds like the OP is saying that, since upgrading, the camera always freezes after being disconnected from USB Mass Storage, and did not do that before the upgrade.

My advice is: Try to run the upgrade once more. Many others have done this to ensure that the software is properly installed.
It would be nice if OP returned to the thread to follow up with what is being observed and answer questions.

To clarify it, it isn't a permanent issue. It had happend once only, but still something I haven't seen before with any previous Sony camera (I have had three already).
