Show us your film gear!

I have an RMC Tokina 75-150/3.8, and 150/3.8 is pretty handy sometimes. I'd take that most times over a 75-300 that is fuzzy and f/5.6 @ 300.

Here is a piscture of my two Yashica FR and FR1 together with the 28, 50 and 55 mm :

They are indeed very nice cameras to use.

OK. I'll pull on this thread.

Here's my Leica IIIf garage sale find. Bought it for cheap ($35) as a shelf decoration.

Decided to have it brought back to life (shutter curtain replacement and full CLA) and shoot some film again. This has been the least expensive, most fun I have had in a long pandemic while!

The camera:

Now I find myself scanning the local papers for more sales!

...but am too cheap, lately.

I had an XA before and liked it. Seems like scale focusing on your XA2 makes it more like a point & shoot with some flexibility. One doesn't always feel the need to use rangefinder focusing.

For my part, I have a µ, but its 35/3.5 triplet lens doesn't compare to the 4-element Zuiko in the XA2, in terms of edge sharpness. Built-in flash is nice though, and the ergonomics are better in use.

A thread unashamedly dedicated to photos of film gear.

I own both a 60-120mm f/2.8 and a 75-150mm f/3.5, and while I enjoy using them, neither one does very well at 300mm :-). For good or ill, such "portrait zooms" lost out in the marketplace first to fixed aperture 80-200/70-210mm class lenses and then to variable aperture lenses like the 75-300mm you mentioned.
