What do you think so far?
The weight and feel of the lens is superb.The micro contrast is very good and nice bokeh.I will have to make more pictures to make a definitive conclusion . Are you hearing much focus noise? My copy buzzes pretty audibly when focusing. This is the first time I’ve noticed the focusing motor on any of my Z lenses.The weight and feel of the lens is superb.The micro contrast is very good and nice bokeh.I will have to make more pictures to make a definitive conclusion . Mine arrived today too. Here are two quick photos:
Direct sun.
Another red flower, name forgotten.
Shade.
Red Begonia
Both taken on a tripod, without turning off IBIS or VR. Both flowers are as close to life-size as I could get.
One thing learned thus far. My Peak Design tripod can't tilt down very far in landscape (horizontal) mode, so the above was taken in portrait (vertical) mode.
Seems like an excellent lens thus far.
