Flamingo courtship

Some two months ago I posted some flamingo images taken at a nature reserve on the German-Dutch border. I went back yesterday in the hope of seeing some chicks, but unfortunately none were to be seen. I guess I was a little too early. Early June should be the right time, but we have a rather long cold spell behind us, so maybe that caused a delay. Be that as it may, I got my first images of flamengoes in flight and several series of courtship displays, one of which survived my culling and editing. Here they are in chronological order.

PS. I would have liked more detail but they were very far away.

Nice series. Thanks for sharing.

Understood about them being far away but even as such, when I zoom in 100% they look pretty good. Nice work.

Thanks. All thanks to a little help from one's friend (45MP and Topaz Sharpen AI).

I love behavior shots or series. Thanks

Like the first one best. The pic itself can tell a story. Awesome shots.

What a lovely series 😊👍🏽

Thank you!

Nice set.

How did the Flamingo in flight shots come out?

Maybe post them, too

Stay healthy
