Moved to a new computer, imported my LR6 catalog, but all editing is gone

I've just finished moving everything to my new computer. Installed LR6, activated, copied over the Lightroom catalog from my previous computer, pointed Lightroom to it. Added plug-ins, etc.

Problem is that while all the folders look to be correctly loaded in Lightroom, none of the RAW files have any editing saved. I.e. they all start with sliders at 0. Did I need to do anything else in order to copy the old Lightroom information to the new system and have my old editing work recoglized?

Actually there's a bit of a confusion for me now--I have finally found some albums that have had Develop settings tweaked and saved, but then others don't have them where I know for sure I edited them in LR.

Perhaps my latest catalog somehow did not combine my previous catalog edits. Is there a way to combine multiple catalogs' worth of edits?'

Either way, I'm okay with the way things are right now.

You can import catalogs into other catalogs.
