Hi everyone,

I looked at the specs, reviews and comments of both the D40 and C50 and I'm leaning towards the D40. The only concern I have is with its size (it's a little thick). Does this pose any inconvenience for any of you? Would you still consider the D40 to be "pocketable"?

Lastly, if anyone wants to sell their D40, please email me at [email protected]

Thanks =)

The C50 is a little slimmer (though still not as slim as, say, the Canon Elph), but the D40 is quite compact too (thicker but shorter). One option is a refurbished D40, which is quite a bargain now at $299. It comes with a 3- month warranty instead of a year, but you can get a 3-5 year Mack warranty for about $20.

I carry the D40 in my pocket all the time. It is a little thick, but it does work. In my experience, it is very durable. I would get it.
