I am an amateur and am loving the A7C.

Took it to Antigua on vacation and was impressed with picture quality.

It fits my hands better than my other bodies mainly due to size and weight and i dont mind the menu system at all as i am used to it and know where to find things.

I want to continue using it as a travel camera and may replace it as my main camera and get rid of my other system.

As a travel camera, what picture profile or creative style do you use to get the best JPeg colors out of the camera? I know RAW is thge best option but for a strict JPeg shooter...Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Just take test images with every creative style and see what please. One can increase or decrease color saturation, and fine tune sharpening and contrast within each creative style. And note that white balance can be fine tuned too.

So take some time to take test images, mess with different settings, and compare the results to find what please.

We all perceive the world differently, color vision vary between individuals and what one really love might be disgusting to another.

So when it comes to color there is one best setting: the setting that please you! ;-)

Personally I like to reduce sharpness and pull down contrast a bit (am not a fan of those pop culture colors for ordinary photography - others however are). What setting I use in each case depends upon the kind of photography I am into.

When shooting JPGs terrific image quality can be obtained, just expose correctly and mind the white balance. Most of my own work is JPGs, but I do resort to RAW and FITS file formats when needed.

Lots of professionals shoot JPGs for various very good reasons (and whiners, I did not say that all professionals do).
