Very interesting end of the year - i'm curious if any of this phone brings some new to mobile photography.

If Xiaomi improve processing and zoom - it can be very interesting option. I'm hope it will have IP68, which is crucial for me.

Oppo Reno 5 Plus will be first camera phone with flagship sony Sensor IMX766. Oppo have great cameras right now, so may be black horse. I like their processing and they are only one company, who can rival with Huawei with zoom capabilities.

I can agree that Samsung has definitely moved in the right direction in terms of processing, I have seen the improvement with various firmware updates over the last few months that specify camera improvements. If you go to GSMArena and search you'll see camera shootout between Xperia 1 mk II, Mate 40 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and Note 20 Ultra, and if you zoom into the full res photos you'll see how improved Samsung is. As for next year, we'll have to wait and see, exciting times!

Smaller than I thought would be.
IMX766 50MP 1/1.56".
The module on that phone will have f/1.8 aperture and OIS.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was announced with a change that pleases me. Not only now that big sensor have OIS, the aperture is narrower, they changed it from 1.6 to 1.85.

According this comparison Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra better in all parameters than Oppo Reno5 5G. And the battery of Oppo reno has much smaller buttery capacity.
