I bought the Ride Videomicro mic to use with an iPhone 11 max pro.
It is a shotgun mic that comes with a nice chunky dead cat (windshield).
However, the sound of wind banging against my mic is clearly apparent even in low wind conditions.
I have spoken to Rode who advised it may be down to the Apple camera app automatically adding some sort of compression over the audio.
They advised me trying an app that allows me to record audio without compression.
Does anyone have any experience with video camera apps for the iPhone that would allow me to still record video in automatic without compressing the audio?
Thanks
Dave
