Is the Zeiss Touit 50M stabilised on an X-T4?

Hey everyone,

I recently got an X-T4 (to replace my X-T2 which replaced my X-T1 which replaced my X-E1) and am loving it.

My question for Zeiss Touit 50 Macro owners is, does the X-T4 stabilise this lens, and if so how effective is it?

Many thanks,

pA

The X-T4 stabilizes all lenses mounted on it, to a different degree. Form official Fuji documentation, the 50f/2, 56 f/1.2 and 60mm f/2.4 are all rated to get 6.5 stops of stabilization on the X-T4, so I'd expect the Zeiss 50 to be in this ballpark.

Hey, thanks for replying.

My main concern is that as it’s not a Fuji lens, the camera may not receive enough data from it to tune the stabilisation accordingly.

Has anyone tried shooting with this combination yet?

Thanks, pA

I haven't tried it, but those first 3 Zeiss lenses were made in tandem with Fujis ok and I'm sure their proprietrary data...it wasn't reverse engineered or something like an adapter or Viltrox lenses.
