Ricoh Griii Wireless Remote Trigger

Hello,

I know the Ricoh griii can connect to a phone and pair / read to trigger shutter.

However I was researching endlessly to see if any or if there are any hacks available to recreate something similar to Hanhels Giga T pro radio wireless transmitter. (Think of JJC handheld trigger but without all the cables)

Would appreciate if there’s any users out there who may have found solution for a physical wireless trigger button that’s smaller than a phone.

Hello, yeah ended getting that 2years ago didn’t even work

now I’m wondering if any Bluetooth remotes can be paired with the Ricoh griii? I mean it’s 2022, every camera can hook to a phone, but surely a remote trigger should come into production ! ((((

Smartphone many years ago already support mini Bluetooth Remote Shutter (part of affordable selfie stick). No sure why camera firmware still can't support Bluetooth Remote Shutter although built-in Bluetooth feature.


Bluetooth Remote Shutter, which chargeable has micro USB charging port.

Insta360 support generic Bluetooth Remote Shutter (part of smartphone selfie stick).

The information on this website is false. The RICOH GRIII / GRIIIx are not equipped with an IR sensor so they cannot possible use an IR remote.

Unfortunately, the only wireless trigger option is Image Sync with iOS or Android device.
