This is not a compare because the 2 cameras are so different. Rather it is a look at how each handles the scenes. The sets were shot in total overcast skies. The last set with the buses were shot in clear blue skies.

I tried to make a collage but my software didn't do well. I tried it with Google Photos and it was not good either. So, I'll just do it the easy way! :-)

Olympus is the first photo for each set:

Both cameras were set at base ISO, Multi-Metering. Full Color for the Kodak and Color for the Olympus (it only has 1 color profile). Both set for Auto WB as well.

Very interesting, Wes. You were there. You viewed the scenes in real life. Which camera, do you think, handled the color best in terms of the actual scene. We can't make that judgement since we can only see the images. Some of the images of the same scene are vastly different.

Wow, what a different. Over all I like the C123 colors better with more warm to it.

The bus pictures under clear blue skies are very closed.

Very good series to show the characteristics of two cam under different situation.

Interesting comparison. It appears to me the Oly renders just a bit more saturation, especially when looking at the red color of the truck. Your skills to get identical scenes is impressive.

Had to show you this one from my C model. Kayaking on our S. Fork of the American RIver and stopping to watch the mayhem..lol.

Ha...I think being OCD helps at getting the scenes to match :-)

I agree about the Oly's saturation.

I'm thinking I have too many Kodaks now, because I have to look up if I have a particular model. I was going to buy a C195 on Ebay last week until I checked and discovered I already had one!, and posted it here 7 months ago. It's a great little pocket snapper, as your photo proves.

The Olympus is more true-to-scene. Because it is Auto Focus instead of Focus Free, it is sharper. Notice the shutter speeds of the overcast sky sets. Fairly slow. Object movement in the wind paired by being Focus Free probably doesn't add up to good sharpness.

But I like the ability to bump the color saturation with the Kodak when it's overcast. This, as well as the new camera's Auto Focus, is why I want the PixPro WPZ2. Jim's post shows it is sharp enough.
