As a happy X100T owner, I felt that the camera only needed three things to make it the perfect street camera: weather sealing, an improved manual focusing ring, and a tilt screen.

The X100V has all of the old camera's features, plus added everything I wanted in a new model.

On the nice to have list: the optical improvements are good, but not particularly important to me (I never worry about the corners) and the touch screen won't get a lot of use.

Face/eye detect is supposed to be improved and I might try that out as soon as we get over this COVID-19 business.

I'll have to see if aperture chatter remains a problem.

When we press the shutter release, the aperture does not close down smoothly, rather it seems to "stutter" as it closes down, opens, then closes. I have not seen it on my V, but it was present on the T.

Search for it and a method to stop it will pop up.

Why is flash phtography (social) only "okay" ? I though flash photography is one of the strenghts of this camera because of the leaf shutter.
