Thanks Donald. But I have not photo-shopped anything out of the background. Have never used it and don't own it. I am standing on the ground and shooting up into the air as you can see from the original. This is a heavy crop from only an 18-200 (at 200 mm) lens shooting into a grey, dull sky :-(Like the picture. Don't like that you have photo-shopped out all of the background.

Thank you Justin. Actually such a scene is quite comical since it looks like the bird is jumping up and down on the nest like on a trampoline. The Osprey couple had three chicks. The third one was probably more advanced since it was flying with the other adult.Cool moment captured...I always love watching the young birds get their first flight tests in - our herons and egrets and wood storks, just having their chicks now, go through that stage where they lift off a few inches from their nest for a few seconds...sometimes they almost look confused trying to figure out how it all works, yet they instinctively know they're supposed to be able to fly.
Thank you Dennis.Very nice!
Thanks Donald. I guess it was better to look at a high key background that the gloomy grey sky. Now I am waiting for those Ospreys to come back and get some better shots with my A6600 and 70-300 lens.It looked like it because the background was such a clear white. In any case, a great photo.
