The new T4 is to have IBIS and DIS. I understand IBIS and OIS (and love them) - please explain to this 74 year old what DIS is and how it differs from the other two - and why I should be excited about it?

DIS likely refers to digital image stabilization. It is used in video, when a cropped area of the sensor is used as an active recording area and the active area moves around the available sensor area to keep the image stable when you shake the camera.

Thanks! I took a minute or two of thinking to process what is being said - but I get it. Mostly a video feature with Fuji adding it to try to make the camera more useful/sellable to videographers.

Thanks guys! Who said blogs are not useful???
