Gr III and Lightroom 6?

Hi there, quick question for today. I know the GR III was launched well past the end of Lightroom 6, but given it shoots DNGs, will the DNGs work in Lightroom 6 or do you need a newer Lightroom version?

By the way, there is a way to make lightroom 6 to recognize GRIII. I have done it following a post somewhere in the forum. I cannot remember the link now... :-(
