Can anyone tell me how to set the Godox 360II as an OPTICAL SLAVE?

In my studio, I use Pocket Wizard to fire my studio flashes. I REALLY don't like the Godox flash interface or that of the X1T controller. I just want to use the Godox flash as a small optical slave to hide behind subjects for a rim light. None of the modes I select will allow the Godox unit to be triggered optically by my studio flashes.

The hardware is excellent and I'm even tempted to get an AD200 Pro. But the interface on the units & the user guide are infuriating. When I typed "Optical" into the user guide PDF there wan't a single instance of the word optical.

I have not found good youtube videos that cover 360II AND X1T (the older 360 is covered, but not these units together, last time I checked)

Any suggestions for setting the optical Slave Function?

Any suggestions for better understanding the operation of these units?

Thanks!

You want the S1 and S2 settings in Manual It's on page 43 of the Canon version manual.

I dislike the X1T too. Have you considered switching to the XPro which is lots nicer.

I have an AD360, don't be intimidated, they are easy to use. I'll agree with the other poster: get an X-Pro or R2 Pro (Adorama exclusive), you won't be sorry. They occasionally go on sale for, what is, close to a song.
