I started tinkering with IEM (Imaging Edge Mobile). I can't say as I'm any more impressed with it connected to my RX10 than with my FDR-X3000 cam.

One point that is unclear is how to delete transferred images. I can dive into the file system and delete the files. But could leave the app looking for non-existent files.

Sony's Help and FAQ pages have nothing to say on the question: how do I delete image files from inside IEM?

I just deleted 6 photos via the gallery - and there are no missing photos/thumbnails in the app.

I even went back to an old verison - when it was playmemories - no such delete either.

Also no mention of delete in the user guide.

Never seen a bad thumbnail either.

I threw caution to the winds and deleted the files using File Explorer. In addition to the transfered pictures, there's a file called .cache. I zapped that, too.

NTL, in the future I'll let Easy Gallery do the heavy lifting. If I do any transfers at all. Usually I just plug in a USB cable and send everything to my usual PC "repository".
