This is probably Kodak's only folding optics model. And it is an S-K lens at that.

When DPR made the announcement a little over 9 years ago they didn't even include the specs for the camera. So, here they are from the manual:

14MP / 1/2.3" CCD / 2.7" LCD @ 230k / 35-175mm F4.8-5.2 / Lens Shift IS / Shutter Speeds 1/2-1/2000, Up To 8 Sec. Long Exposure / Face Recognition & Detection / ISO 80-1,600 3,400 & 6,400 Lower Res. / 1.5 FPS Maximum 3 Shots / Smart Capture, Program, Scenes, Video @ 720 / KLIC-7000 / 129g with Battery

I have been wanting this model for a long time. It's almost as rare as hen's teeth! At least a working one. So I was very excited to win an auction for it, especially everything in the original box. $6 + shipping. And the real deal is......it's almost new!! The camera is almost dead silent (sounds turned off) and quick to power on/off because there is no lens that has to extend out and back. There is a ding on the upper left and upper right but no problems at all. It is pocket-perfect and I think would make a good street/city shooter.

Very nice, Wes. Congratulations on your amazing acquisition. I agree that with that silent shutter release it will make an excellent street camera. You know... I have to smile when I see your camera addiction. I had it once (but not to your degree) and it vanished one day only to be replaced by electric shavers. Go figure. I have had so many Norelcos and Brauns you would be shocked. But even that has slowly begun to decline and instead of a dozen or more shavers I only have four left. ;-) I guess everything changes over time except for the love of one's family. Take care and Merry Christmas.

How interesting! I have never seen this model and wow, the photos look very good. These CCD sensors rendered a great looking image, especially with the SK glass. This reminds me a lot of my Fuji Z900 as it's in the same design.
