Hello!

I entered the Fuji X system for travel, nature, and street photography shoots - with compact magnificent X-T10. Using my first lens 18-55 mm (which I rate very highly) I found that I need to go wider (especially for architecture, landscapes) and bought XF 14 mm lens. So I need more often 14-18, sometimes 23-27mm, and 55 mm focal length. However, I hate to change lenses and often needed to catch the nice shoot with lens of opposite focal length (14 v 55 mm).

I haven't tried XC 15-45 mm yet but I think I do not wish to drop from high-quality XF 14 and 18-55 mm. I dream about compact ultimate XF 14-42 mm lens which I'm sure technically is possible to make and could be favorite among many of us.

Or maybe I've missed some other options?

I suggest you try 15-45 (23-69 eq) , it gets good reviews and is probably okay if you can work around its operational idiosyncrasies. I doubt a faster 14-42 is coming anytime soon. Panasonic's 14-42 (28-84 eq) is significantly longer at the wide end.

I've found the 10-24 makes a great compliment to the 18-55 (or any midrange zoom). Often I find that a given locale is well suited to either the 10-24 or the mid-range. For example, walking around San Francisco, the 10-24 is just perfect. It's so tight in there I rarely want to go longer than 24. But that's for cityscape/architecture. Stress of course you want longer.

Yes, I'd love a 14-45 as well, but short of that, I'd suggest the 10-24. It's a very useful focal length range in the right situation.

The xc15-45 is optically very good up to 30. I'd like to see fuji make an xf15-35 WR out of it. Give it a metal mount, improve the build quality, get rid of the PZ..and i' d be fine with losing the ois.
