Which mid zoom?

I have a lumix gx85 and an Olympus em5 and am looking to upgrade my standard lens from the lumix x 14-42 and Oly12-50. I'm considering the Only 12-40 and the Lumiux 12-35. Both are the same price band and claim to be pro standard. what are the pros , cons and recommendations?

The main recommendation would be to ask in the M43 forum as you are likely to find a higher rate of people experienced with those cameras than here.
