Sony FE 90mm Macro G OSS wont autofocus?

Hey guys,

I have a 90mm G OSS lens from Sony. I'm using a Sony A6000 body with the lens and haven't ever had issues with the setup. About a week ago I picked up the camera after about a month or so sitting in a pelican case and come to find out the lens wont autofocus.

Sliding the manual/auto focus ring into auto and attempting to focus seems to cause a "white" flicker on the screen but the focus wont actually work. Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on?

Manual focus works just fine, no grinding or forcing required to adjust.

Try cleaning out the contacts and see if it helps. Apart from that I don't see why it shouldn't work as it's supposed to.

try resetting your camera and if possible try a different camera
