After six months of exhaustive tests from still to moving subjects I can not praise this lens highly enough. Mine does not have any sharpness issues and is brilliant from 100 mm through to 400 mm. It is used on my X-T2 where it is silent and fast, with the flourite element I find it renders nice colours and contrast.

WTTC, Ron. There are a lot of 100-400 fans here (count me firmly in that group) and I suspect you'll be delighted with what it can do. If you don't already have the 1.4 TC, and occasionally have the need to shoot longer, I suspect you'll be quite surprised at how little an impact it has on IQ. And once in a while, that additional reach can be invaluable, particularly if you happen to shoot wildlife.

Please do share some of your work here as you get more experience with the lens and run it through its paces.
