Hello,

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post.

I'm currently in a band and we come out with content 2x a week, thing is we need a new camera setup. Our videos are action oriented and often lose focus. I went ahead and attached some youtube videos of what we are currently doing. I'm wondering if there is any specific camera / rigs out there that would be a good fit for what we are shooting.

We move around a lot, so i'm looking for something that will be easy to maneuver while also getting good in focus shots, plus I want something that shoots at least 30 fps 4k.

Thank you.

Samsung phones have great auto focus. I'd put one on a motorized gimbal and use that. Samsung uses dual pixel auto focus, the same scheme used by Canon on their "good" cameras. Sony, Nikon Z series and Fuji XT series also have good AF, but you'd have to research to make sure you're getting a model with good AF. Not all models are the same.

Personally, I'd go with the new Fuji XT-30, but that model doesn't have in body image stabilization. I suspect the next XT model will, since some of their other mirrorless cameras do have in body image stabilization. Without image stabilization, you'd probably want a motorized gimbal, which would add another few hundred to your budget. On the other hand, phone gimbals are much cheaper - and easier to handle.

GX85 gives you excellent 4K for less than 500 dollars and AF is pretty good.

I would get the DJI Osmo Pocket which can shoot 4K 6o fps and has it's own built-in stabilizer. It produces a great image and costs only $350 without accessories like phone mount and filters.

Not really what you were asking, but you might want to check out these videos when you have a moment.
