I myself plan to wait 6-9 month when I think price will be down to $1999 for S1. The Sony A7III is the reason. Chances are Sony will more than likely mark this down to $1799 in a few months. Panasonic will have a hard time justifying the cost difference.

I wouldve sold my Z6 for this, but with the insane price for the 50mm, no thanks.

There are 41 other lenses to choose from if a Pro 50 isn’t in your budget. Sigma, the king of bang 4 $ lenses is one of the players here, you can be sure there will plenty of inexpensive, high quality glass available. In fact, it’s likely there will be more affordable native glass for this system comparatively because Sigma is directly invested.

I never knew my comments could be so abrasive to some... "Feelings...."

To add on to the thread, There is no Sigma lens out for the camera as of yet, so that makes it the only lens, Aside from Leica's more expensive lenses available. And the 50mm FL is the only one currently out that Im interested in, but not at that price

I'm not willing to adapt lenses either. Been there, done that with the Z6.

So I'll just shoot with what I have and see if Panasonic makes a Rangefinder styled body. By that time, Sigma may have some lenses to sort through, maybe even a 40mm.
