At present I am using a rubber hood on my 17mm f/1.8 lens but the rubber is distorting. I'm trying to find a plastic or metal hood for my lens that will allow me to attach a filter on the inside like my rubber hood does. Can't seem to locate one. Does anybody know of one please.

These work very well:

JJC 46mm Screw-in Aluminium Lens Hood Shade for Panasonic Lumix G H-H014 H-H020 & H-H020A / 14mm f2.5, 20mm f1.7 (II) ASPH, Olympus M.zuiko Digital 17mm f1.8, Olympus M.ZUIKO ED 60mm f2.8 Macro Lens

I use a a JJC replacement lens hood LH-J48B like this

It slips over the lens and has a knurled knob to tighten it onto the lens, thus leaving the filter thread free.

This is probably the next best solution, but it is still difficult to put a filter on without first removing the hood. The rubber hood I have allows that easily.

But mine is intended to distort it's shape. That's what let's you attach a filter without removing it.

Thanks guys. Just the ticket!!
