S2- camera shooting software

Do you have to use firewire to shoot in the camera shooting software? Can you be thethered via USB and still shoot?

USB is too slow .. so Fuji didnt bother to implement it ..

Works good .. use it always in the studio ..

Only IEEE1394 (Firewire) works with the S2 and shooting software.

The S1 used USB (it was the only PC connection) for the shooting software connection.

The supplier of your camera can order it - about £129 in the UK. Seems a lot, but there is no alternative. Came free with the S1 but I'm pretty sure Fuji decided to charge because that is what Nikon are doing! (USA & Canada get it bundled with the S2 though).

No, according to what I've seen, USB is for importing images only, and firewire is for tethered shooting.
