Dadme un mundo sin contornos,
Un espacio feliz que ignore los perfiles.
Concededme, sí, la dicha redonda
De flotar sin conciencia en el fondo
Desenfocado de mis fotografías.
Give me a world with no edges,
A happy space knowing nothing about outlines.
Grant me, please, the round joy
Of unconsciously floating on the blurred
Background of my photographs.
I'm interested as well. A lot of buzz on these Voigtlander lenses lately, this new lensmount is certainly opening up opportunities for some interesting optics from other makers!

I'm curious. I have the F mount Voigtlander 40mm f2 ULTRON.
Is there any reason, besides the wider f stop, to prefer the 40/1.2 NOKTON, which is larger (but with a smaller adapter) and heavier (even with a lighter adapter)?
It's kind of ironic that my smallest lens requires an adapter that now makes it stick out further than it did on the D850.

I didn’t weigh the two but I think the M 40/1.2 is a similar weight to the 40/2, and with an adapter to Mirrorless, overall size is very close. Otherwise, f/1.2 is a big reason, but general rendering is different as well. Both are compelling.
Nonexperience with the 50/1.2 but shot both 40’s for a while. Check over on FM, I know there is a thread about the 50 and a few shooters have ditched the 40/1.2 for the 50/1.2.
